Science activity: butter in a jar for 7-12
Students will make butter and buttermilk by shaking cream and salt in a jar. They will observe physical changes during the experiment.
This ready-to-use kit can be used in foods classes and science classes. The kit contains:

Students will:
- Learn about hydrophobic molecules and physical changes.
- Observe how cream separates into butter and buttermilk when agitated.
